On Sept. 23, Canada will celebrate National Tree Day.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre celebrated National Tree Day by planting 26 maple trees with the help of Maple Leaves Forever and Landscape Ontario.

Many schoolyards have newly-planted trees thanks to landscape and horticulture profession.

Members took part in school and community activities, or donated trees and expertise to events.
